Signatures are commonly used to authenticate documents. When you sign a physical document, you are authenticating its contents. Similarly, digital signatures are used to authenticate the contents of electronic documents.
Digital signatures can be used to certify or approve documents; however, to digitally sign a document, you must have a digital ID. The Baldwin-Woodville Area Community Foundation does not require you to obtain a digital signature, instead we ask that you type your name with the integrity of such.
By typing your name in the requested area, you certify that all entered information is true to the best of your knowledge, that you have not been paid or compensated in any way for completing the form, and that you are the intended person directed to submit the recomendation form on behalf of the applicant as a nonrelated community member or employed by the Baldwin-Woodville School District.
